Cinderella tells the story of a kind hearted young woman living under the control of her cruel stepmother and stepsisters. "Dick Whittington" De Montfort Hall Leicester   4 Stars The pantomime season is in full swing and Dick Whittington at The De Montfort Hall did not disappoint. This vibrant, laugh-packed production delivered festive cheer, classic panto fun and plenty of sparkle, making for a thoroughly enjoyable evening full of warmth, humour and traditional panto magic. For those unfamiliar, Dick Whittington tells the story of a young man who travels to London in search of fame and fortune. He is guided by his loyal cat. Tuesday 9th December 2025 "Aladdin" Sheffield Theatre Lyceum This was my  first time visiting Sheffield Theatres , and I was blown away. I had never been before, and the theatre itself is stunning from the welcoming atmosphere to the comfortable seating, it set the perfect stage for an unforgettable panto experience. The pantomime season has officially begun, and last night’s performance of  Aladdin  at  Sheffield Theatres  was the perfect way to welcome it in. Bursting with humour, heart, and dazzling spectacle this production delivered everything you want from a festive night out and so much more. For those unfamiliar,  Aladdin  tells the story of a young man who, with the help of a magical Genie, sets out to win the heart of the courageous Princess Jasmine while outsmarting the villainous Ivan Tochacha.
